Emily Smith is a New York City based interior designer.  Originally from South Africa, Emily moved to the states to study interior design. 

​

Emily’s design experience consists of both commercial and residential projects. Her commercial work includes remodels for business offices, medical practices, multi-family, and higher education. On the residential side – she loves designing beautifully layered homes that reflect her clients’ personalities. She does this by creating gracious silhouettes that are mindful of their lifestyles and interests.

​

Having a degree in interior design and a degree in counseling, Emily has the ability to truly listen to her clients, to establish deep, trusting relationships with them, and to interpret their words into a compelling vision – designing a pleasing environment that feels right to each client.

​

Emily has a natural, artistic flair towards all things international and loves traveling with her husband and kids. She is inspired by diversity and has a love for intentional conversation with unique people. She has a weakness for pretty food and all things color. Emily lives in Manhattan with her husband and two young children.
